The Billboard Country Songs Charts


Georgia music artists  scored  five  of  the  top  ten  songs  on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart the
first week of March. After 39 weeks on the charts, Cole Swindell and  his  song  "Chillin  It" took   the  #1
spot.  His  self-titled  debut  album  was   released  February  18th.  Brantley Gilbert   and  "Bottoms Up"
moved up to #2 co-writing his hit with  Justin Weaver  (Forsyth, GA),  Luke Bryan and "Drink A Beer" fell
to #3 after 16 weeks on the  charts, Jason Aldean and "When She Says Baby" from his album Night Train
To Georgia is at #4, written by GA songwriters Rhett Akins  and  Ben Hayslip  and  "Compass"  by  Lady
Antebellum moves up to #6  after 21 weeks on the charts. Songwriter,  Sam Hunt  (Cedartown, GA)
co-wrote the #10 song by Keith Urban, "Cop Car".
